The Wildcat Band
The Wildcat band is our beginner band, comprised mostly of 6th-grade students. This band performs 4 concerts annually and provides students with their first experiences in a "full band" setting.
Symphonic Band
The Symphonic Band is our Non-Varsity band, comprised of both 7th and 8th-grade students who have completed their beginner band course. This band puts on 5 concerts a year, including their participation at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading assessment. At UIL, under the Direction of Mr. Joshua Lott the Symphonic Band earns consistent superior ratings at UIL.
Honor Winds
Honnor Winds is comprised of the top 7th and 8th-grade students who have completed their beginning band course. This band puts on 5 concerts a year, including the UIL Concert and Sight Reading assessment. Under the direction of Mrs. Kim Cooley the Honnor Winds has consistently earned superior ratings at UIL. Additionally, Honnor Winds was a TMEA CC Honor Band Finalist in 2019, and an invited ensemble at the Chicago, Midwest Clinic in both 2016 and 2022.
